QuestionFrom the comments it seems that the biggest drawback to this model is that the normal cycle takes in excess of 3 hours, which seems crazy to me. What is the company’s explanation/ defense of this feature and is there anyway around it?

- Answer K8rl, our dishwasher can average 2-3 hours per load, but uses nearly 40% less energy than older models. The average length of time for a normal cycle can be anywhere from 1 hour to 3 hours. As the dishwasher may be equipped with sensor technology, the very first cycle may run longer to calibrate the sensor. Please keep in mind that selected options add time to the cycle. Also, cooler water temperatures cause the dishwasher to run longer while heating the water. You can try running the nearest hot water faucet until it gets hot just before starting the dishwasher. Also, be sure the water heater in the home is set to 120 degrees F for best performance.

QuestionHow adjustable is the height with the adjustable legs? It says its 34.5 but can it go to 33.75 if adjusted all the way down?

- Answer Hello BryanNY! Yes, the height can be adjusted down. The Maximum Height is 34 1/2" and the Minimum Height 33 1/2 with the wheels removed.

- Answer No Angus I don’t think so, at least not easily. I looked and played around but there’s no way to easily pop it off its rails. I did actually measure, and The upper rack can be easily adjusted upward which leaves 11.5 inches between the spinner that is attached below the top rack, and the bottom of the bottom rack. So it will accomodate a pot 11.5 inches tall.

QuestionI know that the lids slide off of the silverware basket. It appears that the two sides of the silverware basket are hinged. Can the two sides be taken apart? (The silverware basket takes up a lot of space.)

- Answer No, the air gap is not included with either the dishwasher or the installation kit. The air gap can be found in most hardware stores that carry appliances. It is not very expensive, and cheaper than if you get it from your plumber or installer. This is typical with most dishwasher brands.

- Answer Hi HopefulCust, Yes this model will fit with in the 24" opening. The unit does allow you to add a dish after the cycle has already started. The basket for silverware does have larger opening available for adding large handles utensils. We hope this helps.

- Answer No it doesn't have a "hard food disposer", but it does have a 2-stage filter systems, which are easy to remove and clean out. They require cleaning periodically, depending on the usage. We have been very happy with this dishwasher, had it for about 2 months now. Works much better than the Frigidaire it replaced. We owned a Bosch years ago, and I would also claim it is better than the Bosch, mostly because it has a heated drying cycle.

- Answer Hi GD55, This model Hit temp wash is only available with Pro wash and normal. It is not an option that can be selected with Express washe. We hope this helps.

- Answer Hello VMan, Your dishwasher is designed to use rinse aid for good drying performance. Without rinse aid, your dishes and dishwasher interior will have excessive moisture. The Heat Dry and ProDry™ options will not perform as well without rinse aid. Rinse aid improves drying and reduces water spots and filming. Water "sheets" off dishes rather than forming water droplets that cling and leave spots. Rinse Aid can also help your dishwasher retain less moisture on the interior walls and door. - Answer In addition to the pods, you need to use a drying agent like Jet Dry in order to get dishes and the dishwasher fully dry. Just fill the reservoir. Depending on how often you run it, you may need to check it frequently. Not sure why it doesn’t do it without it but that solved the same issue for me.
