It’s great to hear you’re enjoying the cooktop! Regarding the knobs getting hot — while it's normal for them to get warm during extended cooking (especially when using multiple burners at high heat), they shouldn’t get so hot that you need a pot holder to touch them. That could indicate excess heat transfer from the burners or an issue with ventilation. I’d recommend checking a few things: Make sure your cookware isn’t oversized or extending over the knobs. Check if the flames are properly adjusted and not flaring outward. If everything looks normal and it’s still happening, it might be worth contacting KitchenAid support. It could be a design quirk, but it’s also possible there's an insulation or installation issue. Safety first — it’s good you noticed this early!
