A:AnswerYes the inside of the doors can hold gallon jugs. Then there is a center section (the top slides back) so you can put tall things in - the shelves are also adjustable left and right for taller things. The LED lighting is bright - no issues seeing things inside - the 604 series is standard interior and the 704 is the "platinum" interior with a grayish (attractive IMO) and wood grain finish on the shelves. The water dispenser works well - we don't use the auto fill feature or use the water feature much at all as its cold out of the tap at our house (on a well) We have the 704FPS - Platinum Interior, Counter Depth with Fingerprint Stainless - it has been available since late January 2017 - they built out the 704 series first as the 604 - standard interior was not going to be available until Mid-late February we decided not to wait. So far so good. Its a nice fridge.
A:AnswerThere is a dispenser light, it is not able to be turned off. It will turn on automatically when you use the dispenser and then turn off again when not in use, unless the ambient lighting in the room is very low and then it will turn on as a night light.
A:AnswerI had to take an oscillating tool and carve out my cabinets on the top side where the hinges go. Very odd that it doesnt fit into a standard opening.

A:AnswerUnfortunately No. The Platinum Interior, counter depth, only comes with thru the door water and ice. Model KRFC300ESS is the Counter depth WITHOUT water and ice thru the door but is does NOT have the Platinum Interior.
A:AnswerI have only seen this model in counter-depth at this time. There are 3 finish options: Stainless Steel (KRFC704FSS), Finger-print Resistant Stainless Steel (KRFC704FPS), and Black Stainless Steel (KRFC704FBS).
A:AnswerThe ice maker is located inside the left panel of the refrigerator door. But they have it so it doesn't take take up a lot of space like you see other counter depth refrigerators I've seen.
A:AnswerDark gray. Not same material but very close. Suggest going to a BB store as they have them on display. If they need to they can easily pull it out at the store store so you can see and judge for yourself.
A:AnswerOpen the refrigerator door with the water dispenser and you will see a latch to then open the ice maker. Once that is opened, you can lift the tray out and empty the ice bin.
A:Answeri had the same problem. Do you have high water pressure at your house? I installed an in line pressure regulator and problem solved. You attach it to the water line from the wall to the fridge.
A:AnswerHi Frank, for scratches, we recommend using a stainless steel cleaner. We recommend the Affresh Brand and here is the link to that product: https://bit.ly/3vjVimg
The Filter Reset procedure is on page 18 of the Owner's Manual and reads as follows:
RESET FILTER — Touch MAX COOL and MAX ICE together for 3 seconds to reset the water filter. The display will do a 3-second countdown, then flash the icon and play a tone. We hope this helps. Please don't hesitate to reach out to us directly if you have any further questions! KitchenAid 800-422-1230 M-F 8 AM to 6 PM ET
A:AnswerYou probably need to return the fridge and have a new one delivered. Sounds like the control panel. We had a service person out and he suggested a return since our first one was 2 weeks old as well. The new one works perfectly.
