QuestionThe specs say that this can easily be converted to an inline blower, however, I cannot find the instructions for converting it or the model number for the blower box.

QuestionCan this hood be used in a shorter capacity? I have a soffit that the exhaust rises into. Too tall for a under cabinet hood and sometimes too short for a long exhaust cover. Does it need to be cut or is it in sections?

- Answer Wow, I'm sorry KitchenAid can't even answer a simple question like this and forces you to call in to order a simple thing like replacement filters. I am rethinking my purchase and hopeful I can find an alternative that fits with what my builder is doing, because this seems like awful CS.

- Answer The discharge is 6”rnd. A bit small for the CFMs, but rarely rams up to high.
