QuestionThe even heat burner is on top of the stove…. It is a burner not part of convection oven. I do not know how to use it. It is the top left burner!

- Answer Hello Jr, This range is manufactured with the neutral terminal connected to the cabinet. Use a 3-wire, UL listed, 40- or 50-amp power supply cord (pigtail) (see the following Range Rating chart). If local codes do not permit ground through the neutral, use a 4-wire power supply cord rated at 250 volts, 40 or 50 amps and investigated for use with ranges. We hope this helps.

QuestionThis range states it is a 4 burner electric range in black stainless. under the photos it states it's a gas convection range. The Kitchenaid Website does not have a black stainless model only the black Model KFEG500BL and it states its 5 burner.

QuestionDoes this stove (model #5665303) have 4 or 5 burners? The stainless stove has 5 burners. I think the stove in the store has 5. Why would the black stainless steel only have 4 burners & the stainless steal have 5?

- Answer Best types are the one with totally flat bottoms! Also, check the pans and pots to see if they are compatible for ceramic tops: they have an indication printed on the bottom of the pots, usually. Do not use: cast iron, copper, and/or enamel!

Questionwhat is the best way to keep cooking surface clean. I only used once and have hard time to remove spots from glass and nothing was spilled.

- Answer I bought some Cerama Bryte COOKTOP cleaner shake it up apply small amount I use a paper towel to wipe on it dries fast then use a clean paper towel to wipe off . Make sure you wait till top has cooled down. I had some tougher spots and carefully had to get it off with the edge of razor blade then wiped it down again. After clean and dry use a dry mico fiber towel. shines up nice. Do not use that mico towel on anything else but the stove. Hope this helps you.

QuestionExtended warranty questionsMy Range that i purchased on Jan 4th is being delivered on jan 20th. I assume my extended warranty (GSP plan) starts the day it arrives, right? I was told i had time to reconsider the protection plan, and now i'm reading that the protection plans are not a good use of money. Do i get 15 days or 30 days to return the protection plan? I used a new best buy visa that i opened the night of the purchase, not sure but i think that gave me some advantages related to returns? To be clear i want to know when is my last day to return the protection plan? The protection plan covers open box items right?

- Answer I was reading the reviews and I had to let you know it is really best to keep your extended protection warranty plan in place... I just bought a Kitchen Aid range and this time with an extended warranty plan... previously had a new 2 yr old LG...and it completely died on me...had NO extended plan in place...I could have had the LG repaired free of charge...we learned our lesson. Just Saying from someone out over a thousand dolllars.
