• Chop/Dice, definitely. It will not slice a whole onion or tomato due to the size of the feeding tube that leads to the slicing/shredding area. You can still slice onions if you cut them into quarters first. Not sure it would work with a tomato, especially one that is nice and ripe. Maybe a firm green tomato but it’s would have to be quartered and then sliced. A mandolin or trust sharp nice might work better for slicing whole-sized tomato’s.
