Hi Aim, The 120 volt (U.S.) appliances are not compatible with 220/240 volt requirements of other countries (as well as vice versa). Additionally, KitchenAid does not recommend the use of a transformer for any KitchenAid countertop appliance. Doing so could cause damage to your appliance or the home electrical system, as noted above.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Th KitcheAid Mixer is rated for 120V / 60Hz / 325W. You'd need to run it with a converter if you connect it to a 240V power source. One more thought. Most countries I know that run 240V also have a 50Hz frequency. Converters only take care of voltage, not the frequency. As such, you'd provide the mixer with only 50Hz. I'd expect that this will have an impact on the performance of the mixer.
