“Does this model have an on and off switch? Or do I I have to hold the switch the whole time I want it to run.....or when I turn it on it will run on it's own and if I want to stop it I will turn the switch off?”

Has convenient thumb control off-on switch on top of unit.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You hold the switch the whole time you want it to run. You release the switch when you want it to stop running. Very easy to operate. I just make sure to unplug it as soon as I am done using it - before I take off the attachment.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.For safety, you hold the switch as you are using it and when you release the switch it stops. It is not like a blender or stand mixer where you push a button and let it mix on its own. I find this gives me greater control over what I am mixing.

It is variable speed so if you press the button all the way down it'll mix at its maximum but if you ease up on it then it slows the blending as well.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It has a flat switch that you hold, but it’s so easy. Not a off/on switch. You don’t normally use it that it runs that long, at least I don’t. I love it and I’m glad I got it.
