“Will I get a loud crisp sound using 4 surround speakers with a Dennon receiver to fill a 1500 sq. foot yoga studio or should I go with the bookshelf speakers? They seem to have the same features (not an expert) except the surround speakers are mountable.”

1500 sq feet? You need a hearty set of speakers & amplification.

Please try again later.i wouldnt get all 4 as your rears considering that the tweeter to woofer ratio is going to be way off (8tweeters and 4 mids) not including your other speakers. i would maybe get just bookshelfs for a studio seeing as you want to have the sound be ballanced and more of an ambience instead of having too crisp of highs. hope that helps, if it doesnt let me know and ill try my best
