As these Klipsch bookself speakers are of bass reflex design and the port is rearward facing, giving them some distance from the wall is desirable for better sound quality. However, I am using mine as rear surrounds and I have them angled inward and only 8 inches to the port from my rear wall. They sound great and the bass for their size is excellent with no objectionable issues. I have a 110 watt/channel @ 8 ohm 7 channel Onkyo Atmos receiver and these little Klipsch speakers can handle some serious volume without distortion. As long as you don't put them directly up against your wall, I don't think you will have any acoustic problems.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Its depends if your using as a front left n right chanel then 1 inch from the wall its good , and its your using as surround or rear then you can put stright to the wall
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The power put out by these speakers is so strong,(put your hands on them when they r playing at a decent volume),u will feel the power. I have mine on heavy steel stands so keep them a little ways from the wall or they will vibrate on the wall.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mine are mounted to the wall with side mount brackets which hold them about 6" from the wall. They sound great!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. For use as surround sound, or as rear speakers, they can be mounted on the wall or up against it. For use as front left or right channel speakers then an inch or more from the wall.
