Dolby Atmos speakers need to either be in-ceiling, or facing the ceiling at about a 60 degree angle. The is a center channel speaker and I would only recommend using it as such.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. They certainly are not the specialty front type speakers with independent Atmos drivers. Additionally, I couldn't see using them as the ceiling mounted speakers in an Atmos set up. Way to bulky. (Flush aunt are generally used for ceiling overheads)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This is speaker is designed for center channel frequencies, so you would loose a lot of dynamic range and consequently, the fine nuances needed for dimensional separation. Small broad frequency bookshelf speakers work well for Atmos.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I wouldn't. I think the horn has about a 60 degree throw (30 up / 30 down) so the angle of the reflection for a 'height' channel probably wouldn't work for the effect your looking for.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, this is a Center Channel speaker. It is not Atmos enabled and is NOT designed to be used for that application.
