The choice is really what you prefer. The addition to a 5.1 or a 5.2 system for me would be the front L/R. I found this placement to be best for our use. If your 7.2 already has the front L/R Dolby Atmos channels, then you may want to try the Rear L/R. Your question does not say if your 7.2 system already has the front L/R Dolby Atmos capability; so it is difficult to advise you, not knowing your specific existing configuration.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. These are good for rear surround, but are VERY good for the middle of the room on the left and right cieling!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Check the manual. It recommends placing on the front wall or on the front floor standing speakers. I have these sitting on top of my front tower speakers.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I placed these on a flat vertical wall about eight inches below the ceiling and above the main front speakers. They face down into the room and have a great dispersion of sound. The other choice would be to place them in the back of the room. The best effects in my opinion is in the front of the room. Hope this helps.
