A:AnswerTo the best of my knowledge the base plate on the Klipsh reference premier book self speakers is removable. I have a 7.1 set up and the two side speakers I would have to mount on the wall with a bracket. So I done alot of searching online. I have not done it but from what I could gather online is the base plate has four screws in the bottom that can come out and the base plate should come off. One bit of warning though I actually called and spoke to a Klipsh tech. They do not recommend mounting the speakers right against the wall. I think that it needed at least two to four inches behind the RP-150m. If you wanted to verify that there Klipsh has great tech support and you will actually talk to someone in the US. There phone number is pretty easy to find online.
