To the best of my knowledge the base plate on the Klipsh reference premier book self speakers is removable. I have a 7.1 set up and the two side speakers I would have to mount on the wall with a bracket. So I done alot of searching online. I have not done it but from what I could gather online is the base plate has four screws in the bottom that can come out and the base plate should come off. One bit of warning though I actually called and spoke to a Klipsh tech. They do not recommend mounting the speakers right against the wall. I think that it needed at least two to four inches behind the RP-150m. If you wanted to verify that there Klipsh has great tech support and you will actually talk to someone in the US. There phone number is pretty easy to find online.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes the bottom plate on the reference premier 150m is removable. There should be four screws in the bottom to take out to remove the bottom plate. Another thing worth mentioning I read online that you can take the bottom plate off and spin it around to change the angle of the speaker.
