Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I am using a pair of these with a Denon AVRS750H rated at 110 Watts RMS per channel to play vinyl records. With the volume control calibrations going from 1 to 100 I get loud enough volume at 75 to worry about being heard outside. My room is 30'x30' and 14' high. Note: I am using the powered 12" subwoofer with 80 Hz rolloff. For smaller rooms you could probably get by with the AVRS650H rated at 75 Watts/channel. For home theater with 7.1 surround sound I would go for the higher power.

I have these exact speakers and with a receiver that is about 100 watts per channel and they sound great! Having an amplifier/receiver that produces wattage within the range of what the speaker can handle ensures nominal performance. A 100 watt per channel receiver is enough to power these. They're high efficiency (97dB) so they don't take a whole lot to power them. Also these are 8 ohm speakers and some receivers will give you the 6ohm wattage per channel rating to make is look like the receiver is more powerful. Check and make sure that the 8ohm wattage per channel rating is at least 100 watts to 150 watts. You can spend a lot of money on high resolution amplifiers! By the way the reciever I am using is nothing fancy, but does the job. It's an Onkyo TX-NR676. I got it for $299, but it may be even cheaper for the holidays. Hope this helps man. Sorry for being too long and possibly confusing. Be blessed!

When you have your receiver playing sound from the tv you get a delay where their mouths are moving and the sound is off. This puts a delay on the sound so it matches up. You can get this receiver at the magnolia store in best buy.
