I'm a little bias probably but I've owned a few different systems in my life and I still have them but my favorite is my Onkyo model 3008 it's 10 years old and I've never had any problems!. 145W 9.2 and a monstrous 55#s it will crank untill I just can't stand it with no distorting that I can hear. My second would be a Yamaha I have putting out 130 or 135 it's a little smoother than the Onkyo but it just doesn't kick it as hard as the Onkyo.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I got the Yamaha reciever. I would not buy any all in one reciever though. You will want one that can adjust the output to each speaker set - most actual receivers can do this now - but that is very helpful so that each speaker can output what you want for your room style. Make sure it is at least 5.1 capable.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I am running these effortlessly on a Yamaha TSR7850
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Just about all brands have a receiver that will run these, I use the older Onkyo nr656 and pushes them wonderfully. Denon, Yamaha, Marantz, Pioneer, Sony all have receivers that will make these hum.
