Question2 part question here....1-I don't understand where it gets it's power from. Do I need a receiver or amplifier with it? 2-can I play cd's through a cd player on it?

- Answer 1, both the Sound Bar and the Subwoofer have power cables that plug into standard 110 outlets. 2, You can play anything through it as long as you have the right cables!

- Answer No, the soundbar and subwoofer both have independent plugs that need plugged into a wall outlet. However, there is no tuner or such so if you want any sound to come out of it, you have to connect it to a source such as a tv, a dvd player, etc.

- Answer Yes, the soundbar has a programming procedure where it learns to respond to the volume control signals from any remote.

QuestionWhen I power on my tv using the tv remote the soundbar also powers on. However when I power off I have to use the remote for the soundbar to turn off the soundbar. Is this the way it is supposed to work?

- Answer Yes, but if you don't turn it off, it will go into standby mode automatically after a few minutes of no signal from the TV.

QuestionIs this unit Auto-sensing? Will it turn itself on when it detects an input from the TV or do you have to manually turn it on (and off) every time via remote?

- Answer Yes, mine turns on automatically. Not sure if it comes on when audio source is present or just when my TV gets turned on. I'm feeding it optical audio out from my TV.

QuestionHelp!! Bluetooth IssuesI am now on my second r10 b after taking the first one back when I couldn't stream videos from youtube from my laptop or phone. It constantly skips and cuts out. I called klipsch and guy told me Bluetooth antenna in soundbar was bad. Second r10 b does the same thing. Have checked all drivers software everything says up to date. Can anyone please HELP me figure this out!!!

- Answer This might not solve your existing problem but I use Cromecast for youtube vids and haven't had any issues, so far.

QuestionSamsung 50" UHD TV compatibilityif the soundbar is connected to the television via Optic cable, will the television remote correctly adjust volume on the soundbar? rather not have to use yet another remote to adjust volume. thanks, look forward to your reply

- Answer Sadly no usually in my experience the Soundbar will auto adjust to be louder than TV giving you a better sound but at times its louder and can be annoying with commercials.

QuestionWhy does my sound only stay on a few minutes, then shuts off. I just bought this unit (Klipsch R-10B) today; cannot get sound to stay on over five minutes. Then have to punch back and forth on remote to regain sound, but then goes off again!!!

- Answer How do you have it connected to your tv? It does have a standby mode though that can be bypassed so it sounds like your unit is going into standby mode when it doesn't receive any sound input for a period of time.

Questionis the sub strong enough to shake the couches when hearing explosions in movies and can you hook up a second klipsch sub useing the av ports

- Answer I have Klipsch and I am totally amazed in quality it offers for it's cost. I never added a second sub woofer but was warned that sub woofers do fall apart eventually depending how much you use them and how loud the base is because the vibration loosens the screws.
