A:Answer1, both the Sound Bar and the Subwoofer have power cables that plug into standard 110 outlets.
2, You can play anything through it as long as you have the right cables!
A:AnswerNo, the soundbar and subwoofer both have independent plugs that need plugged into a wall outlet. However, there is no tuner or such so if you want any sound to come out of it, you have to connect it to a source such as a tv, a dvd player, etc.
A:AnswerYes, mine turns on automatically. Not sure if it comes on when audio source is present or just when my TV gets turned on. I'm feeding it optical audio out from my TV.
A:AnswerSadly no usually in my experience the Soundbar will auto adjust to be louder than TV giving you a better sound but at times its louder and can be annoying with commercials.
A:AnswerHow do you have it connected to your tv? It does have a standby mode though that can be bypassed so it sounds like your unit is going into standby mode when it doesn't receive any sound input for a period of time.
A:AnswerI have Klipsch and I am totally amazed in quality it offers for it's cost. I never added a second sub woofer but was warned that sub woofers do fall apart eventually depending how much you use them and how loud the base is because the vibration loosens the screws.
