is this the correct cover for the 6 quart mixer? null

this cover is a bit short. i bought it for my 6 quart mixer (kitchenaid) and it is about 1-2 inches above the counter top. wish it covered it completely, but it does not.

Not really. You can get the cover over the motor housing of the larger mixers with the 6 quart bowls, but it'll be about two inches too short to come all the way down. I guess it depends on whether you want the entire mixer covered.
