A:Answer From the standing, in use position, extend the center mounting post to its tallest height. Then shorten all the legs to their shortest length. Then one at a time, pull up slightly on a leg to allow the gold release lever to be operated. Release the leg and swing it up it so the tip of the leg is pointing up - it will now be right next to the tripod head. Basically, you're turning the leg upside down to make a more compact package. Do that for all three legs. One of the photos shows how it looks when folded this way. Describing it is way more complicated than actually doing it : ) Once you get the first leg released and flipped up, it will make much more sense. It fits easily in the bag with room to spare when folded this way. Hope this helps!
