• A:Answer Yes, it takes both photos and videos. There are two more things to get this camera to work the best which isnt provided in the box: Sd card and a sd card reader to transfer photos directly to the phone.

• A:Answer not really, some cameras can send them to your phone and then be emailed. Just reading the SD card in a computer would be much easier.
