• No it does not and it does get warm. I turn it around and use the bottom flip up as a lift under the back edge of the laptop for circulation and cooling. Dell XPS

• No, it does not have a fan. It does however have a raised rubber bumper that's meant to elevate your laptop more to increase airflow. This probably won't be enough though if your laptop overheats a lot, so I'd look for another lap desk with fans if that's your case.
