QuestionI understand the width of this stand ... but why would it not handle a 15.6" laptop, understanding that the laptop would extend beyound the stand?

- Answer I think you may encounter issues with stability and balance if used with a 15.6-inch laptop, but it maybe worth the risk as I think this is a great lapdesk. My household has two which we use with a 13.3-inch laptop and a 14-inch laptop. I also use it on my desk to elevate my laptop as this makes typing more comfortable.

- Answer No it does not and it does get warm. I turn it around and use the bottom flip up as a lift under the back edge of the laptop for circulation and cooling. Dell XPS

- Answer According to the product features, you have 20 options for adjusting the height of the lapdesk. I am able to adjust the height of my lapdesk from 1 to 7 inches, and I find a 2-inch height most comfortable. My son discovered an alternative use for this lapdesk--as a desktop easel and often uses the maximum height for his sketchbook.

- Answer So I have this for my 15” also my sons tiny chromebook and my Lenovo laptop/tablet way smaller 7” my son has a 15.5” laptop and a friend of mine has a 17” it does work but it does hang off on the sides. So it definitely works for that size it recommends certain sizes because it fits in like a glove and the 15” actually hangs over a slight amount in my opinion but it does work and well to be honest. The only issue would be hanging off of the sides being bigger then the stand. If you are ok with that I would definitely go for it because it is worth every penny!

QuestionIf users say their laptops can increase the height between 1-7 inches, does that mean the highest it will go is 1 inch? almost flat? I am looking for something that will not raise the laptop too high due to it blocking the screens i use for home office.
