• I guess it does. I have an ionic and only has a couple short supply of responses. I would imagine it would the same. Simple responses - yes no or a custom respond that you could add.

• Yes, it connects to your cell phone. Download the fitbit app to set it up. It vibrates to notify you when you receive phone calls, text messages, some emails (For me; some might get all their emails, but I've never been able to), instant messaging and alerts you to scheduled events on the calendar.
