  • QuestionNo Oculink? I'm out.

    Asked by ChristopherL.

    • Answer No Oculink" means the device you're using lacks the OCuLink port, which is a spe- cialized high-bandwidth con- nection for external GPUs (eG- PUs) and other PCle devices. To get OCuLink connectivity, you'll need to add a compatible adapter, such as one that plugs into an avail- able M.2 slot on your motherboard. If your device doesn't have an available M.2 slot and no native OCuLink port, you cannot use OCuLink-based eGPU solutions without a significant hardware upgrade. What OCuLink is: It is an external connection technology that directly links to the PCI Express (PCle) bus, providing more bandwidth and lower latency than Thunderbolt. It was developed by the PCI-SIG (Peripheral Component Interconnect Special Interest Group) to allow for high-performance external devices.

  • QuestionWho is the target demographic for this consumer product? This is 3 times the cost of a nintendo switch 2. Twice the cost of the original lenovo legion go.

    Asked by SteveB.

    • Answer Those who want a handheld form factor and have money to spend. Its running OLED and vrr compared to the OG in addition to hardware changes. The switch 2 cannot play anything else besides Nintendo games short of being modded. The Claw 8 AI is a better comparison to make against and the Legion Go 2 16gb is about $100 more than the Claw MSRP. Whether performance increase and OLED is worth the increase is yet tbd.
