The battery pack comes with a USB to micro-USB cable. If your phone uses micro-USB, then it should be fine. Otherwise, I'd imagine you'd just have to use your phone's charging cable to connect to the USB port (which is what my wife does with her iphone).

It is a power source so it should work. It may or may not give a full charge but it should be sufficient until you cam get to a wall charger. I have used it on a Galaxy Note 4 without a problem.
