- Answer No, smart circuitry inside the device will shut off charging to the battery and provide power to the phone itself.

Replacement Battery Model #CLZ359LG, positive terminal is the first prong that’s closest to the corner of the battery (the first prong to the right if it’s facing you); the negative prong is at the opposite end. - Answer I have found this will work with any device that you have a USB cord for. The only expectation to that I have found is the iPad with Retina which has much higher charging requirements (requires 10w charger). I would expect that this will charge any device that requires 2w or lower charging unit. Check your phone charging wattage needed.
