Superfish is controversial and according to recent news stories (The Guardian) is believed by many to cause security problems as well as irritation for users. This model is not listed in the news story as one of the products Lenovo says has it, but I'd like to clarify before buying.”

Mine had Superfish on it. Of course, the news came out about it about 2 days after I bought the laptop. I promptly uninstalled it and then within a week or so Lenovo posted a tool on their website in order to totally and completely remove it. Keep in mind Superfish was only included on Lenovo machines manufactured for about a 3 month period.
