Lenovo has something called "One Key Recovery." I also have a Lenovo desktop and when it was infected with a virus, I used the One Key Recovery and it could not have been any easier than pressing the button. I highly recommend printing out the manual so that you'll be prepared to use this if something should go wrong. Hope this helps.
