“I purchased this laptop and while typing emails it blinks and goes completely black - I have to press the power button to turn it back on??? Any suggestions”

I would contact Lenovo right away and get it ready to be serviced. You might have to ship it to them and than they will ship it back to you for free. Get an RMA first.

Does this happen when you are not in the email APP? Does this blinking only occur when you are in this one APP, if that's so it sounds like the email APP might be the source of the problem. If this blinking occurs in other programs, you might want to check for driver updates for your system by following the link below. As always, create a restore point on your system before you make any changes.
