It depends on what you are doing. If you were doing something that would put the laptop in alot of stress for instance video editing or gaming, then yes it would be worth it to upgrade. However if you are just surfing the web or writing essays then i would say it would not be worth it.

This board has 4GB soldered on and only one ram slot, so do yourself a favor and get a 256GB SSD and an 8GB DDR4 for an easy $150 upgrade. It'll make it faster than you think!
