• I'm sure you can plug in external speakers. But I think the sound is great and there is no need.

• We were watching Hulu on this last night through just the unit itself. No issues with sound.

• You can use compatible external speakers by plugging the external speakers into the 3.5mm audio jack on the Lenovo C340-11 Chromebook.
