AMD A10 model has a discrete graphics card, the ATI Radeon R7 card. It only has 12GB of RAM. The 300s model has an Intel Core I-5 processor and 16GB of RAM. There is no discrete graphics card on the 300s system. The graphics are integrated on the processor. The A10 processor is slightly faster than the Core I-5 processor. The 300s has more RAM. Both are great deals. Both are December 2015 models. If you are playing games, the AMD A10 might be the better choice. Otherwise the two are very closely matched.
