We've only had it about a month, but I have not heard any fan noise, however temps in the house have not gotten much above 70. Also, it only does light duty (mostly internet) so the CPU gets very little strain. Perhaps if your applications included video editing or intense gaming, you would hear some fan noise but for us it is not a factor. The Windows XP "tower" computer it replaced was much louder and threw off more heat.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would not say that the fan is loud at all, but it does chirp and buzz a bit when running numerous apps at once. The noise is minimal and fades into the background not unlike white noise. I'm a fan of Lenovo products - and I would absolutely recommend this PC. I hope this helps.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The fan is no problem. The computer is no problem. What I hate (and this has nothing to do with the computer) is Windows 10. Bill Gates did non-tech types any favors when he created this monster.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, I don't find the fan loud. Actually quieter than some others I've used.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Model number F0D00021US is a high performance system with its Quad-Core/Eight-Thread Intel Core i7-7700T processor and 8GB of DDR4-2400MHz RAM. It will generate heat whenever it is turned on, even at idle, this is normal. The onboard fan will maintain the proper operating temperature for the device. You will hear the fan whenever it runs, this too is normal.
