External devices are limited as to storage of readable files, and music files are not, without drivers, which cannot be installed on a Chromebook.

    • Answer The Lenovo Chromebook 3 14 model number 82KN0000US, ships with one USB-C 2.0 (support data transfer, Power Delivery 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.1a) that can be used to connect one external display directly to the Chromebook. When used either mirrored or extended from the device screen this external monitor will provide the second screen for a two screen configuration. To connect two external displays to this Chromebook, you will need to add a compatible universal docking station.   • QuestionMy monitor Dell E2414H (1920x1080), recognized by this chromebook connected by USB-C port. But doesn;t display to native resolution on the monitor. Instead displayed at 1024X768. Adaptor (displayport Alternate mode) and monitor work fine with PC..
