The CPU on this computer has 4 cores for general processing and 8 cores for graphics computations. It produces excellent middle level graphics with very high detail, textures, colors at moderate frames per second in 3D if the data has 3D in it. At 1280X720 resolution, it is unstoppable by even the most demanding titles. Passmark testing of this CPU puts it in the middle of the Highest Performance CPU's roughly around the 80th percentile. It compares favorably with 4 and 6 core processors that lack graphics capability. If this CPU/GPU combination is combined with another AMD R7 on the motherboard, they will work together and be capable of 1920X1080 resolution for game titles. Many recreational gamers (non-competing) play at 1280X720 on a 1920X1080 monitor, enjoying the tight monitor detail while experiencing the higher frame rates of less demanding 1280X720 processing which is only 44% of 1920X1080 processing. Its really an entry level gaming computer and a lot of bang for the buck..
