“I'm starting college in the fall and I'm looking for a laptop for online work. For essays and mainly Microsoft and research only. Is this computer good for that? Is the storage amount large enough or should I go for more GBs?”

This device is an entry-level system. Meant for light use; internet drowsing and light Microsoft Office projects. A college student would be considered a heavy user. You should consider a system with at least an Intel I-3 processor. Optimally, an Intel I-5 processor-based system. 8GBs of RAM would also be ideal.
