• Yes, but there is only one SIMM memory slot. Additional memory may help performance. I would first change the hard drive to solid state drive. This would make a dramatic increase to the read/write speed and decrease the boot time.

• A certified technician can increase the RAM to the system maximum of 16GB, a certified technician must do the work so as to not void the warranty.
