My deepest apologies, I have just been informed that the picture on the Best Buy web site is incorrect. There is no backlight for the keyboard on this model. I apologize for misleading you.

A backlit keyboard should be installed on every notebook, I mean really, how many pennies did they save? How many customers did they disappoint? Didn't they save enough money on the CPU & RAM? I am a long time customer from the early IBM Thinkpad days, i have lost a measure of respect for you, Lenovo. Rod Walsh
