QuestionWhere can I get the memory upgraded?? I purchased this laptop from bestbuy and was told they would do the upgrade for me. However, after purchasing they are now saying that they can't do the upgrade due to some security thing on the inside.

- Answer Go to Lenovo's website and download the service manual. I've upgraded the memory and replaced the hard disk with an SSD myself. I didn't see anything in the service manual about voiding the warranty or any security thing in reference to the memory. One of the hard disk screws has a security sticker which I had to break to install my new SSD, thus voiding the warranty. For a $300 laptop, I'm not going to worry about the warranty. (I planned on upgrading the laptop when I bought it so I didn't bother with any if the extended warrantys.)

QuestionCan I download photos from my iPhone 6s onto this computer?

- Answer Yes !! Currently running iOS 10.2.2 and with a lightning to USB cable I'm able to see the phone under file explorer as a drive. I'm able to copy the photos off, you will have to press the message that allows you to trust the pc on your phone before it shows. Currently using iPhone 6s+

- Answer Sims 4 is pretty resource intensive, and this only has 4GB of RAM onboard. That being said, it is upgradable to 16GB and is not hard to do yourself. If you upgrade to 8GB, you should be fine.

- Answer No, this model only comes in the one color. Yes you can attach an external keyboard and mouse if you choose.

- Answer The maximum RAM for this system is 16GB. There is only one slot. This system uses DDR4 2133Mhz RAM. All work on this system must be done by a certified technician, otherwise the warranty may become void.

- Answer I've found it fairly quiet. Obviously there may be some fan noise when it's running heavy loads, but it's still nothing distracting. This is all in my opinion, of course.

- Answer It is really not designed for that purpose. This is a great unit for home use, using MS office, surfing the web, email and even most all business and home tasks, but it is not a gaming machine and not configured to do that.

- Answer Yes, definitely. It is extremely solid and well built, heavy and durable. I looked at many 2 in 1 units and they all seem cheap, light and flimsy in comparison.

- Answer Yes, I ou linux mint on mine and it runs insanely fast. This is really great, solid, and well designed software. You can download linux mint to a thumb drive if you like, and then in the dual boot mode just boot up linux mint from your thumb drive and run it without having to load it on your hard drive, which ai prefer since I don't want anything else running on my hard drive with my windows operating system. Try it, you will liike it and it is very easy to do!

- Answer Yes. It looks like that particular model can be expanded. According to multiple sources, it will go all the way up to 16GB or RAM. It's running DDR4 memory so it looks like you're probably looking at about $35 per 8GB stick. Obviously that price can fluctuate from place to place, but that seems to be about average.
