QuestionCan a old style parallel port be added to this model? Manufacturer of my machine says I cannot use a parallel port to USB adapter.

- Answer You can get a Parallel Port PCIe x1 card. It plugs into the smaller PCIe 1x slot (There are only two PCIe slots on the board, a 1x and a 16x, and depending on model your 16x slot may be occupied by a video card.

- Answer yes, i have not done this myself but i am about 98% positive it will support dual monitors i was playing around in my display settings adjusting the res and i want to say i saw a dual monitor setting, or multi-monitor / multi-display

QuestionCan this or any other computer plug into my old Gateway computer? (The keyboard and computer screen work just fine) The old Gateway still works it's just really old and have run out of space.....so I'd like to update and get a tower.

- Answer Depending on how old your system is, you might try using an external hard drive. If your Gateway still runs well and has functioning usb ports, using a usb flash drive or a larger usb-connected external hard drive will provide more storage options. If, however, your computer is too old to support a flash drive or an external drive, the 1 TB on this Lenovo desktop is a very good alternative. Just note that the processor is not the fastest on the market today. Now, if by "plugging in" your Gateway to another computer, you mean can you still use the Gateway and view all its data on the new machine, you'd probably have to remove the hard drive from the old computer and invest in some special hardware and (in some cases) a program to connect the hard drive to the new computer via a usb (or usb-type "C") cable.

- Answer There is a 30-day trial of Microsoft Office 365 included as part of the Windows 10 operating system. In order to keep the program active after the trial period, you will need to purchase a product key. You will not need to download any additional software.

- Answer Don't expect much from this little PC. I got one of these new little Lenovo desktops a week ago, and went into great detail on it in my review (not published on the BB site as of 7-3-2020), but I don't recommend it at all for graphics-heavy videogames or YouTube video editing. More suited for Solitaire, Mah Jongg, or number and word puzzles only, and basic email and light web-surfing. It comes with a 4GB laptop memory stick, which is very sluggish, so I had to add 8GB to the 4GB of laptop memory just to make it worthwhile, then it's fine as long as you aren't a gamer, video editor, graphics artist, or sitting on YouTube or Vimeo for hours. Hopefully BB will post my review soon.

- Answer The HDMI output should work automatically. Be sure you have HDMI input selected on the monitor settings menu. We recommend you check with your monitor manufacturer's website for settings setup for HDMI.

- Answer The desktop (Lenovo Ideacentre 3 07ADA) ships with 4GB DDR4-2666MHz RAM. There are 2 slots to accommodate a maximum of 16gb RAM. Lenovo recommends a certified technician perform any changes to the system, but no matter who does it, upgrading the RAM is simply a matter of properly inserting a stick of DDR4-2666MHz into an available slot of the PC (while the unit is turned off and unplugged from an electrical outlet, of course).

- Answer This desktop essentially uses laptop soldered parts in terms of the CPU, so you cannot upgrade it to a Ryzen desktop chip if that's what you're asking. You can upgrade the memory(laptop style memory), as well as the storage.

- Answer It might be easier (and more cost-effective) if you used a "Parallel Port-to-USB" adapter and plug it into the desktop's existing USB ports.
