Yes.It takes no more room than a normal monitor.No tower to mess with.Also, if you ever want to add or replace anything,so simple,any highschool kid could do it.

Yes it's a desktop. It's much too large and heavy to be portable like a laptop. The advantage is that everything is in one spot - you don't need a separate monitor, tower, speakers, etc. The keyboard and mouse that are included are wired, but it's easy enough to add a wireless keyboard and mouse.
