• Yes. I run Civilization 5 and Assassins Creed 3 on it and it does quite well.

• I watched a review on Youtube, as I don't personally play games, but the reviewer mentioned it runs minecraft at 30-50fps. This would be acceptable. Keep in mind Bestbuy has a 14 day return policy so you could purchase one and return if it it does not meet your expectations.
