“If I decide not to renew office 365, does this laptop have similar programs to word, excell and powerpoint?”

There are several alternatives to office that are either free or relatively inexpensive. One free that I use is Libre Office 5. I also have Soft Office 2016 that was little money.

No. If you do not renew Microsoft Office 365, you will need to add a replacement Office Program Suite to have this type of functionality.

There isn't a program that is already installed, but instead of buying the Office 365 and worrying about subscriptions, you can buy the full office for like $160 and it doesn't expire.
