This will NOT be a good laptop for anything but a return if you purchase it. I had this computer for three months and during this time there were constant minor issues, now it is completely frozen and useless. I purchased it online so I'm going straight to Best Buy in the morning to get my money back. This is a CHEAP piece of junk and I would not recommend that you purchase it. It won't last the duration of the semester.

You mention this is a keyboarding course. Keep in mind this device is 11.6" and has a reduced size keyboard. Check with the college/instructor to be sure this size device and reduced size keyboard will meet the requirements of the course.
