I added a wireless mouse, which meant a little plug-in that goes to one of the USB ports. That allowed me to have a "clicker in my hand" for advancing the slides, rather than having to use the thumb pad on the laptop. I plugged my flash drive with various Power Point lectures into one of the other USB ports. This is an inexpensive way to go (under $200), but don't forget to add about $15 for a wireless mouse.
