• Hey jimp, Many of the IdeaPad 1 series laptop do not feature a backlit keyboard, like this model IdeaPad 1i. This is deemed in the industry as a premium feature that usually is not offered on laptop below the IdeaPad 3 series. • Actually, its' VERY easy to believe that many people don't want to fork over another $100 for a silly feature most people will never, ever, use in their entire life.
