• A:Answer With a Chromebook you can ONLY download apps from the google Play store. It's more like a tablet than a laptop in that respect. You can't download Microsoft Word or Screenwriting software or any additional programs you want to run. Not sure how much hardware storage is available for downloading music/movies/games either. It's meant for things to be done online but not stored.

Q: QuestionHow does one get to the memory slot inside the laptop to add a 8GB stick of RAM? Does one have to remove the entire bottom plate of the laptop? Or, is there a small plate that is easily removed that gives the user direct access to the memory slot?

• A:Answer I found a youtube video as walkthrough - took me a while to find one and rules prohibit adding a link, but search it and you'll find one or more. But basically, remove the bottom, disconnect the power, there's a metallic panel covering the space for additional RAM. Pull it off, add the RAM, reconnect the power, replace the panel(s) and you're done. VERY very simple

• A:Answer It comes with 8GB and says its expandable to 16GB of RAM. You can not add an internal hard drive. I recommend an external HDD connected through the USB. I have an external HDD, as well as a CD/DVD player-burner connected through the USB ports.
