QuestionIs the 12 hours of battery life based on turning the computer off using the on/off button? Does the battery run down when just closing the laptop cover (meaning the battery runs down even when not being used but not turned off)?

- Answer Hello. Thank you for your question! Battery life is monitored by conservative settings for things like display brightness and completing non-intensive workloads. There are many variables that can drain or conserve battery life, some of which can be adjusted in the preinstalled Lenovo Vantage application. When the device is idle or asleep, battery can drain as background system processes can be running and using battery power.

While yes, you can download the Netflix app from the Microsoft Store, running Sims will be determined by the system requirements for the game, matching alongside the specifications of this model IdeaPad 3i. QuestionIs this Dock compatible with this laptop? ThinkPad Universal USB-C Dock/Part Number: 40AY0090US. I just need to use the dock for extra monitors, USB keyboard, and mouse. I am pretty certain this dock with a 65W power adapter will not charge it either.

Reason being, the USB-C port on this model is only for data transfer and does not feature DP Alt Mode, meaning it cannot support video signals. By using a hub or dock that connects via DisplayLink, you could plug in using an adapter to that USB-C port.

- Answer Hello, FWANEIL. Thank you for your question. In short, no, at least not natively. Reason being, the USB-C port on this model, as you mentioned, is only for data transfer and does not feature DP Alt Mode, meaning it cannot support video signals. By using a hub or dock that connects via DisplayLink, you could plug in using an adapter to that USB-C port. However, for power delivery is not supported in any configuration besides the designed pin connection that comes with this IdeaPad.

- Answer It does not come with word or excel. You can use the Office 365 web based apps for free (not full featured but you can do most things).
