“I bought this laptop like 2 or 3 yrs ago, it works great but this year, it just wouldn't come on. Do you think it needs a new battery? I'm about to buy one on Amazon. I hope that will solve my problem.”

Hey Martina, We're sorry to hear that you're having trouble with your Chromebook. To try to resolve this, here's a method that can work on devices that won't turn on. (You may need a 3rd hand for help) First, connect the charger to your Chromebook. Then, hold the power button + refresh key and remove the power adaptor as you continue to hold down those buttons. Wait for 1 minute, then press the power button to test the device (note: the power LED should not blink, and the device should not turn on). Connect the power adaptor and monitor the LED color. The device should try to turn on and the LED should blink or have a solid color.
