  • QuestionIs it possible to remove factory installed virus protection software also the MS Office? Does it support dual boot option? Planning to install Ubuntu in another partition.

    • Answer I removed the pre-installed anti-virus and MS office. Then I installed my other software. I don't know about dual-boot but the 2TB ssd is two separate 1TB ssd, maybe that helps.

    • Answer Hi, sam. You should be able to do so with the Legion Pro 5i's two M.2 2280 SSD slots, but for disclosure, using drives of that size has not been tested for this model. The maximum used was 1TB (test results with current Lenovo storage offerings).

    • Answer Hey, Dan. From an upgradability standpoint, the system RAM or memory is removable, but the max that the system was tested using was what this configuration comes with, 32GB DDR5-5600. This system has been tested by other users that upgraded their system to 64GB, and you shouldn't have an issue doing so yourself, but for disclosure, since Lenovo hasn't tested this for this model, we can't verify if this is accurate.
